Good Time for a Float

I’ve been feeling very tired in the last couple of days, so I thought it would be a good time for a float.

This week has been a bit stressful and I’ve also beat my body up a bit with hiking and going to the gym. As I enter the float room the signature blue LED lights give me an instant feeling of relaxation.  I lie down on the water and instantly my aches and pains give a sigh of relief and I think to myself that this is exactly what I needed.

The beginning of my float started with me using the starlight ceiling.

I find that starting out with gazing at the stars helps me to slowly get into the fully relaxed state by turning off the lights.  As I look up I smile and let out a huge exhale.  A little later I turn the starlight ceiling off and within no time, I let go and drift off into nothingness.  A while later I come to and the next thing I know the music has turned on and my float has ended.  It was just an hour but that was all I needed to fully rejuvenate my mind, body, and spirit.
